Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with D.E. Gemmill Signs & Safety. Please review our shipping policy below.
- All Pricing Excludes Shipping All product pricing shown on our website excludes shipping costs. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order and delivery location.
- Order Processing Time Orders are typically processed within [1-2] business days of receipt. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
- Shipping Methods We ship to all 50 U.S. states via UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Shipping rates and delivery estimates are provided at checkout.
- Local Pickup Local pickup is available at our store location. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout. You will be notified when your order is ready. Payment is collected at time of pickup. Store Address: 3096 East Prospect Road, Rear; York, PA 17402 Store Hours: Monday-Thursday 7 am - 5 pm EST, Friday 7 am - 3 pm EST and Saturday 9 am - 12 noon EST.
- Drop Ship Orders Some items ship directly from our manufacturer. For drop ship orders, a shipping quote will be provided before your order is processed. We will contact you with the shipping cost and confirm before shipping.
- Tracking Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this to track your order directly with the carrier.
- Shipping Damages If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within [3-5] days of delivery at sales@degemmill.com or 717-747-1391. Please include photos of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

RETURN POLICY
- Returnable Items – Not all items sold on the E-Store are eligible for return. The items listed below are NOT RETURNABLE / FINAL SALE (no returns once shipped, except for damage in transit):
- Traffic Signs (including standard/regulatory signs once shipped)
- Traffic Posts & Brackets
- PREMARK Preformed Thermoplastic Products
- Custom Signs (any made-to-order or modified signage)
- Water Filled Barriers
- Custom Lettered Clothing / Branded Apparel
- Original Packaging Required – Returned items MUST be returned in their original package. Refunds WILL NOT be issued for any product that is not in its original packaging.
- Restocking Charge – A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
- New Returns Only – Refunds WILL NOT be issued for any product that has been used, regardless of the extent of use.
- Return Time – Returned items will only be accepted and a refund provided if they are postmarked for return within 30 days of the customer's receipt date.
- Return Amount – If returned items meet the above requirements, an amount equal to the original purchase price, less the original shipping cost from D.E. Gemmill, Inc. to the original destination, will be refunded to the customer.
- Malfunction – Product malfunction is NOT the responsibility of D.E. Gemmill, Inc., but of the manufacturer.
- Return Shipping – The customer is responsible for return shipments, pursuant to the above conditions and including shipping and applicable shipping insurance costs, to the below address:

- Return Authorization Form – A Return Authorization Form must accompany all returns.
- Incorrect Orders – To return any incorrect orders, please complete our Return Authorization Form, which will be sent to you upon request. Once we receive the incorrect order and verify it, we will send you a prepaid shipping label to return the original item(s), if applicable. Products properly returned according to the guidelines are eligible for a full refund in the form of store credit, less original shipping costs. Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit.
- Damaged Items – Damaged items must be reported 1st to the carrier within 24 hours and 2nd to D.E. Gemmill, Inc. D.E. Gemmill, Inc. must be provided with a report of the damages within 3 business days. If, after investigation, the items are determined to be damaged as a result of D.E. Gemmill, Inc., a full refund in the form of store credit will be provided. In the event the damage is the result of any other parties’ actions, including but not limited to the customer or carrier, D.E. Gemmill, Inc. shall not
